At Baldor, we’re committed to providing world-class service while delivering your order safely. To ensure a safe and smooth delivery process for both your team and ours, we have outlined a list of requirements below.
Clear Pathway
Please clear a debris-free pathway from the roadway to the delivery drop location.
Door Hatches
All door hatches must be open at the time of delivery.
Stairways and Elevators
Elevators and stairs are ideal for accessing your delivery site.
Stairs must be structurally sound, debris-free, and wide enough for safe hand truck access. To complete delivery, stairways need adequate clearance for a hand truck and driver (no ducking required).
Please note: Hand trucks cannot navigate spiral staircases. If your location requires 3+ flights of stairs or escalator-only access, please communicate this to us.
Escalators
Escalators must accommodate a hand truck and meet standard safety inspections. If an escalator is the only accessible means to reach your location, please communicate this to us.
Overnight Deliveries
For overnight deliveries, the driver must be given access to building lighting.
Inclement Weather
In the case of inclement weather, a cleared and safe pathway must be maintained at the time of delivery.
